ive been coming here for YEARS and have never left a review, but figured i probably should. their coffee is so unique and like nothing else youll find in amarillo and their food is fantastic. wonderful vibes, wonderful staff, wonderful regular patrons. they provide free condoms, birth control and emergency contraceptives. their hours are so convenient for students, workers and nightowls in general which is why i come so often. this is like THE place to be for me and my partner and my friends!! definitely try this place if you love art, live music, or of course just supporting small businesses. thank you to the 806 for everything you do🫶🏻🫶🏻

Was only in Amarillo for one night and decided to stop at 806 coffee lounge. I’m vegan and saw that they had vegan options which is one of the reasons why I stopped here. I ordered the vegan chili and the vegan quinoa salad and loved both of them. Finished every drop of it. Was in the middle of a roadtrip so I definitely needed this fuel. They also have a nice list of drinks! My drink was also very tastey. Parking was easy and it was a Friday evening. The vibes were cool and the decor was cool as well. Highly recommend this place to vegans and non vegans🙌

This is my favorite place to wind down with friends, sit down and study, or to converse with staff members! Shoutout to the exceptional Cody and Noa, they know their stuff and are always so attentive and sweet! I am obsessed with their wonderful coffee (my favorite is an iced oat milk hazelnut latte, extra sweet with whip) and their vegetarian food options. The pizza bagel is the best! Whether it’s for a quick snack break, a hangout with friends, or a study session— this is the place. My friends and I will always come back.

This is an awesome little coffee/tea place that serves food as well. The aesthetic of the place is really cool and artsy. The people working there are very polite and my wife and I really liked how passionate they seem to be about human rights, women's rights, reproductive rights, and the lgbtq+ community. It's just a nice place to hang out.

★☆☆☆☆ — AVOID AT ALL COSTS They weren’t ready for us. The Wi-Fi was so slow it couldn't even load a photo of us, which tracks because clearly this place cannot handle that kind of beauty in any format. The energy shifted the MOMENT we arrived. The barista looked at us like we had personally offended them by existing. No smile. No warmth. No "welcome, beautiful strangers." Nothing. Just cold, bitter vibes — and unfortunately that was the only thing in the building that wasn't lukewarm. The barista, bless them, appeared to be operating on two hours of sleep and pure existential dread. I respect the commitment to the aesthetic. The muffin I ordered tasted like it was baked out of spite. Dry, sad, and resentful — much like the service. It tasted like it had been baked during a different presidential administration. The ambiance? Imagine a waiting room that gave up on itself. The music was some kind of ambient soundscape that I can only describe as "sad robots having feelings." One of the light bulbs was flickering. Nobody fixed it. Nobody even looked at it. We all just sat there, flickering together. 🫰🫰🫰🫰 Our drinks took so long. This place is epicaly concerned for YOUR safety and it is nothing less than refreshing. As someone working with first responders and trying to help people better their lives, it is truly amazing to see. I cannot say enough good things. I really hope you visit. 💗💗💗
